Physically challenged Tamanna Akhter Noora, who obtained GPA-5 from the PSC to HSC examinations, was admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery on Tuesday afternoon for her treatment.

Dr Samanta Lal Sen, coordinator of the SHNIBPS, said Tamanna was admitted to the hospital as per the instruction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

“A medical board, which includes two foreign doctors, has been formed for the treatment of Tamanna. We are examining her condition,” he said.

Tamanna Akhter Noora, the eldest of three children of Raushan Ali and Khadija Parveen Shilpi of Alipur in Bankra, achieved GPA-5 in all public examinations –PSC, JSC, SSC and HSC.

Earlier on February 14, PM Sheikh Hasina and her sister Sheikh Rehana took responsibility to facilitate study of physically challenged Tamanna Akhter Noora. They also talked with Tamann over phones.
